Kenya Travel Information

The main tourist seasons are December-January, July-August which consider to the northern hemisphere summer holidays. The great migration of the wildebeest in the Maasai Mara is during this time. For an international tourist a Visa is required on entry to Kenya which is valid for six months. You should contact you Kenyan embassy or consulate or any British Embassy where there is no Kenyan Embassy although it is possible to purchase a visa on arrival at the airport. A $20 departure tax is levied when you leave Kenya.
